🔷️ Abeye selected at Wired Health for its Lexilens technology

After recent editions of CES, Vivatech and the Grande Exposition du Made in France at the Elysée Palace in 2023, Abeye has once again distinguished itself by being selected to take part in one of the UK's leading health/tech events: Wired Health. This was an opportunity for the start-up supported by Atol opticians to present its Lexilens technology, recently adapted for computer screens.

The Wired Health event, to be held on March 19, is a landmark date bringing together the brightest minds in the digital health industry to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and challenges in the sector. Medical professionals, healthcare technologists, pharmaceutical leaders and entrepreneurs will be on hand to discuss all the innovations that can bring about positive change in terms of care and health. During the event, Abeye will be showcasing its disruptive technology in a test lab: more than just a presentation, it enables the teams on hand to test, touch and get to grips with the product. In Abeye's case, two reading aids for dyslexics.

🔷️ Lexilens: technology developed in France available in two products

Based on the discoveries of two laser physics researchers at the University of Rennes, Albert Le Floch and Guy Ropars, who have since received awards from the French National Academy of Medicine, Lexilens active lenses instantly erase the internal visual clutter (mirror or double images) that makes reading and learning difficult.

The lenses are controlled by an electronic device housed in the temples, which can be activated at the touch of a button. After an easy personal calibration stage, the effect is immediate: letters stand out better, lines separate, and reading and comprehension become smoother with less effort.

🔷️ A unique reading aid: 5,000 users, 36 countries, 100% Made In France

Since their launch 4 years ago, Lexilens glasses have been used by over 5,000 users in 36 countries, with 92% satisfaction*. Initially intended for a young audience, they have since been offered to adults, and have seen their design and technology evolve over the years. Our leitmotiv is to offer a product 100% developed and manufactured in France: R&D in Beaune and Rennes, and frames made in Toulouse. The size S model was certified Origine France Garantie (OFG) in 2023.

Abeye has recently adapted this technology to a computer screen. After 24 months of R&D, the start-up unveiled its latest innovation at CES in Las Vegas last January.

Offering full HD resolution, the screen instantly improves reading fluidity and comprehension without the need to wear Lexilens glasses.

This new product fulfils Abeye's ambition to advance inclusion in professional environments and increase the performance of dyslexic workers whose tasks involve computer activity. This screen also enables students to learn more comfortably and effectively.
